Paris Hilton was sued Wednesday in Los Angeles for allegedly breaching a contract to promote and wear hair extensions manufactured by Hairtech International Inc. Hairtech is seeking $35 million in damages—10 times what it paid Hilton in endorsements.

Hairtech claims that Hilton breached a contract to promote and wear hair extensions manufactured by Hairtech.  The company also claims Hilton missed a 2007 launch party for the hair extension line because she was in jail where she spent 23 days behind bars after she was caught driving with a suspended license while on probation for reckless driving. Hilton’s attorney says the $35 million lawsuit against the heiress lacks merit and vows a spirited defense.
